Mind Element
People... so far havent really commented much on this yet i see... And people think mind burn and stuff is crappy and not worth an elite. Hahaha thats where your wrong. I can tell u that if dmg eles were still used and they wernt support in gvg ud be able to take over the ele scene with these... I have to say though for fire ur lacking spells to bring with the build so i had to add some support spells(no not fire attunement thats there already...)
E/X
Fire Magic 16
Energy Storage 13
Glyph Of Lesser Energy
Fire Attunement
Optional (Aura of Restoration Is What I Use)
Mind Burn [E] (BAM!!1 Mind Burn thats how i role)
Meteor
Fireball
Rodgorts Invocation (Yes thats right 25 nrg)
PvP - Res Sig PvE - Res Chant(Requires Monk 2ndary) or Other
In order Glyph Of Lesser Energy + Rodgorts Invocation + Meteor + Mind Burn + Fireball(Ur cleanup spell)
E/X
Water Magic 16
Energy Storage 13
Water Attunement
Optional (Aura of Restoration is what i use, Glyph Lesser Nrg might be better)
Ice Spear (YES! ICE SPEAR I KNOW WTF?)
Mind Freeze [E]
Ice Spikes
Malestrom
Deep Freeze
PvP - Res Sig PvE - Res Chant(Requires Monk 2ndary) or Other
Deep Freeze + Malestrom + Mind Freeze on Target + Ice Spear (cleanup spell) And yes u usually do kill them... well the casters.
E/X
16 Air Magic
13 Energy Storage
Air Attunement
Optional (Aura of Restoration is what i use, Glyph Lesser Nrg might be better)
Lightning Strike
Arc Lightning (Maybe somethin else like Shock Arrow ive used Chain Lightning)
Mind Shock [E]
Enervating Charge
Lightning Orb
PvP - Res Sig PvE - Res Chant(Requires Monk 2ndary) or Other
Actually i dont know what i usually do because its usually over fast. Usually i just spam away. But i have to say Mind Shock + Lightning Orb + Enervating Charge (If War Definatley Use This)/Chain Lightning (If A Good Amount Of People Surrounding) + Lightning Strike + Arc Lightning (if u got)
Ok so maybe air was confusing but everything else should be fine. Seriously this will pwn unsuspecting monks and casters w/o monks. Just Do It *Nike Swoosh*...

Mind spells are wonderful. I can see them work very well with ED Me-s in team situations. I was just running a Mind Shock Ele in RA- was a lot of fun. You need better nrg management (or good swapping skills) than what you have suggested. Remember that you have to keep your nrg high even with Exhaustion on. Otherwise you are wasting the skill.

Nah man im fine with nrg maybe i should make a video or somethin to show how i run this.
EDIT - Well with Mind Burn it is no trouble probably because of glyph lesser nrg. Also i just tried water and its better with glyph lesser nrg because of deep freeze. I dont think u need to much help with air.

I think everyone that has kept the Mind Elites off to the side for awhile will be back to having a bit of fun with them once again. My fav has always been Mind Shock as somehow this spell just rolls into my air combo better than the other Mind spells lend to theirs. Mind Shock is just my 'where do you think you're going' spell. I could say the same for Mind Freeze, but there are other snares in that line that aren't conditional. Lightning Surge does the same thing as Mind Shock but without the conditional and with a delay, but of course Mind Shock is more fun, and that's what it's all about!
On your Water Build, you're using up a ton of energy with that Deep Freeze/Maelstrom combo, I don't think I'd be running Mind Freeze with them in there. And there's no WTF here on the Ice Spear thing, that spells rocks the softies hard. Almost always bring it with my water builds.
The Mind Elites are great spells, but I often use every bit of my energy as it's there to be used, castrating those Elites for use in only AB or moreover even 1v1 battles in my own guild hall, just messin about. I wish it weren't so.

When your in ha ra and ta... its not like 30 min matches its like 5-10 minutes so really i just waste my energy while i can and hope the round is over. For now theres not to many things i could think of to take care of my love for high nrg spells... but it works for me.

I take +30 nrg wand/off hand for Mind builds. Good to know you can almost always trigger the dual damage and added effect. But you need good nrg management, attunement only won't do. Esp with the lower recharge on the mind spells now... they are more spammable but you need to take care and make sure your nrg is up at all times, or u'll be wasting your elite.

I agree on the fact that Mind spells are attractive now, but I don't like your builds.
I also miss Prodigy when I try running Mind...

What the Ele guy in Boreas has it? Yea get it from him, you can hench that. Or... get 3k faction running a Touch Ranger or something annoying like that and unlock it. :-) I see no point in Fire damage personally. Least Air has 25% armor pen, some Earth skills ignore armor and serve as proto, and Water slows stuff down. Fire does like nothing but elemental spike damage (and burning here and there). And the recharge on the good skills is horrific. MShock is still the best Mind spell I think. 53x2 spike damage with 25% armor ignore and KD, all for cheap and low recharge. It's rly good stuff.

Hmm. a few things.
1: I tried to Hench it but failed cause Argo kicks butt.
2: Mind Freeze looks easier to cap. But, that build looks like it uses too much energy. I'd probably replace some of them skills for cheaper 1s.
3: Mind shock looks hard to cap. But I'll try it.
4: I do agree that fire magic isn't that great, but in real life, fire is my ally.

"Mind Burn!?" he says, laughing as he Mend Conditions off all the 'damage' you just inflicted. Followed quickly by pointing and laughing as you drain away the last of your energy with a feeble Mind Burn doing absolutely nothing.
Dependence on energy for an elite? A conditional effect that isn't even that brilliant followed by exhaustion... these elites suck. Mind Shock sucks... if you want knockdown why not let a Shock Warrior do it unconditionally. Mind Freeze? Sure if your an Ice Imp! 90% snare is powerful yeah... but so is a knockdown... hell Water Trident would be better.
I don't care what builds people think of them... Mind Elemental spells are for monsters only... things that are usually dead before exhaustion kicks in and almost always seem to have more energy than you. Elemental Attunement will always be the better elite. If you really want burning, use Mark of Rodgort w/ Fireball or just wand them.

Mind shock is better than shock, +100 damage + KD for only 5 energy and a recharge of 8, or didn't u hear about the new buff the Mind skills have gained. All Mind spells only cost 5 energy now, I think thats the buff.

And the recharge was reduced. Mind Shock is a great elite as of this point. It doesn't really "depend" on nrg. All you have to do is make sure you have more nrg than your opponent. For an Ele, that isn't really a feat... And there is a thing called weapon set swapping, that allows you to compensate for Exhaustion and maintain a massive nrg pool. By swapping weapon sets, you should be able to always trigger the dual effect. Mind Shock often spikes for 130-140 on softies because of the armor pen, and that happens in 2 portions meaning that it's less affected by proto skills that limit the amount of damage you can take.

No its not, the fact its conditional and gives exhaustion is what makes it suck, i couldn't care less what its recharge is... Would you bring Meteor if it was elite with the same recharge?

... did you even think this bit through?

No your right... Shock doesn't do 130-150 damage. But the Eviscerate/Exec that 'usually' follow do slightly more... I haven't seen a single good arguement as to why Elemental Attunement should be dropped for 1 of these. How exactly as an air ele do you keep energy up? Or does your whole skillbar consist of Mind Shock? Blinding Flash? 15 energy. Chain Lightning? Exhaustion. Lightning Orb? 15 energy and could miss. Lightning Hammer? 25energy. Air spells aren't cheap you know. I'd rather just bring Gale and use my elite for something good.

I agree with that the Mind spells are great now.
But I'm not really a fan of your builds either.
And it seems to me that all 3 of those build are REALLY similar.
Looks like you're just giving general Nuke builds a random spamming spell (Each of the Minds).

Evilsod, I actually use:
1- L Orb
2- Mind Shock (e)
3- L Strike/Enervating
4- Blinding Flash
5- Leech Sig/Power Drain/Drain Enchantment/Spirit of Failure
6- Ether Feast
7- Air Attunement
8- Res
And this is my RA build... obviously you dont need EF in a team situation and you can drop it for 2 nrg management skills. The reduced recharge Leech Sig is awesome. L Orb/M Shock/L strike or Enervating is a great spike. I have 0 problems with nrg. I also always bring my high nrg wep set, just in case.
And I only use Ele Attunement with my FC Air build. Ether Prodygy is better if you need elite nrg management on an Ele, that is if you crank up a bunch of high cost Monk spells and play as a Blind Bot/Support character.

So i guess you don't happen to find many people with enchant removal then? Hell even some Touch Rangers bring Strip Enchantment. Mind Shock sucks, Gale doesn't even do damage and its better.
Plus whats RA prove? You might have a million to one chance of making Primal Rage a brilliant elite in RA, but i couldn't care less because its the worst 1 in the game everywhere else. RA means nothing, bringing it up to try to show that Mind Shock can actually be good means you have no counters to anything i just said.
Mind Spells still suck and always will... and since everyone keeps mentioning spikes... Lightning Surge anyone?
